Farmer's Market Finds
OUR STORY
Our candles are created from upcycled materials
to reduce waste and honor the legacy of local
artisans. As regular visitors to the farmer’s market,
we were inspired by the talented growers and
makers who have become like family.
One vender was a bee keeper who sold mead
made from honey, he was renown for his unique
approach. Another farmer always brought a smile
with his oranges. Through sampling their goods
and simple conversations, we felt deeply
connected to these communal stewards of the
land.
Now we carry on their commitment to our other
communities by using essential oils crafted from
local ingredients. Each scent transports you to
stalls filled with fresh Texas produce, cultural
contributions, and the friendly faces that make our
markets vibrant
OUR STORY
Help Fund Our Start-Up
My daughter Mila- Annora and I have been enjoying our new hobby of making essential oils together. Using organic citrus peels from local farms and flowers from communal growers, we experiment with different scents. I love that it allows us quality time bonding over wellness and sustainability. Creating these natural aromatherapy oils has brought us even closer through this fun project. It’s a passion we share that strengthens our special bond. Our mission is to preserve, share and honor the legacies and cultural contributions of our forebearers in farming. We celebrate the vibrant cultural roots these families established through their back breaking yet indispensable labor in the early 20th century citrus industry. Our hope is that by providing these tokens of the farmer market, we spread more of the comfort, care and connections to our community. These candles provide a loving reminder especially in winter, of the pleasures that await in spring return to market.
